Recycled 100% of CD / DVD waste. Provided online tools to customers. Identified and aligned itself with environmentally conscious suppliers for packaging (CD / DVD), paper stock, as well as other materials used in the normal course of business. Ensured that all paper at Mira comes from the forests and mills of International Paper through their local subsidiary, Xpedx. International Paper is FSC, SFI, and PEFC certified. Conducted regular meetings with Mira Digital Publishing personnel to discuss energy and resource-saving measures.

Mira clients are also able to easily review submissions using reviewSMART™. Even if clients encounter thousands of submissions, reviewSMART™ enables quick and easy access, making it easy to revise and ready papers for conference sessions and presentations. Once our clients have determined which papers have made it through the review process, Mira’s programSMART™ can help with planning each conference. This program enables the division of each conference into appropriate sessions and also enables revisions whenever necessary—hassle free. Once the conference schedule has been determined, attendees can access the conference program through attendSMART™ and save their itineraries and preferences regarding schedules and sessions. Attendees can also search through the conference information by author name, keywords, title, etc. For those who are unable to make it to any conference, Mira has created librarySMART™, our online content archive, and indexSMART™, our customizable CD or DVD archives that can be taken home and are compatible with any platform.     Journal Publishing: Mira is proud to offer journal publishing options to all our clients. Whether your journal is supplemental to your conference or a stand-alone publication, Mira will work with you to give you the most comprehensive online peer-review and reviewing capabilities. Utilizing the same tools and expertise that apply to successful meeting and conference proceedings, Mira can publish your work in the smallest periodical frames of time. With emails and blogs, news of the moment is just a few clicks away. So it is in the same way that Mira's submitSMART™ enables easy submission of scholarly journals. Editors and co-editors are then able to review each article using our reviewSMART™ program hassle-free. The final edit of what used to be a gallery proof takes minutes instead of hours. We're digital. When someone yells "Start the presses!" at Mira, it's easy as turning on the lights. But what about those few who are not connected? They are sometimes those most in need for the information. Mira can print and publish using electronic multimedia as well as paper. We are centrally located in the United States and we haven’t forgotten  how to put a package on a doorstep in Frankfurt, Germany, the very next day.
	Self-Publishing: Our project managers and production staff will work with you to ensure that your book is exactly how you want it. Editing services will help your publication read professionally by providing a revised copy completely free of spelling, punctuation, and grammar mistakes. Production technicians then prepare the books for print using Adobe Acrobat plug-ins such as Quite Imposing, ARTS PDF Aerialist, and Enfocus Pitstop. A proof is sent to you for approval before the final print process begins.   Mira Digital Publishing uses the latest in print technology to give your book the most polished look possible. Here is a rundown of what the print process typically entails: imagePress C1 - All covers and artwork are printed through here at topnotch quality. PL-1200 lamination - Covers may then be laminated using gloss or matte, giving the cover longevity. imageRUNNER 110 - Most book printing takes place here, using the latest in print technology to efficiently produce over 100 two-sided pages per minute. Color pages can be printed on our C1 printer, and then later inserted into the main body text. Bourg Perfect Binder - Text and covers are then brought together to make a perfect bound (paperback) book. Books thin or thick, numbering 15-850 pages, are bound using a powerful adhesive for the spine. Champion 30.5-inch Cutter - Bound books are then trimmed to size for a complete, polished look.   Mira also offers alternative binding options, such as saddle stitch (stapled), case bound (hardback), and spiral binding.
