Mira’s session tools are configurable to reflect the language of each client’s field. Mira rolls the configurability into the software, making it a breeze for Administrators to choose their own preferred titles, labels and designations throughout the conference site.
Creating conference sessions means organizing a lot of information and contacting a lot of people. Mira’s software keeps track of presenters’ areas of expertise, submissions status, contact information, time availability, presentation preferences, and myriad other important details. The Site Administrator can easily access all this streamlined, cross-referenced information when creating conference sessions.
By simply clicking on the “Event AAG (at a glance)” menu option, the Administrator can create a new session, assign start and end times, location, track and moderators. On the same screen, the Administrator can determine the number of presentations and the duration of each event.
As submissions continue to roll in, the Administrator can track their review progress. One of the most vibrant features of the Site Administrator’s dashboard is a colorful pie chart. At a glance, the Administrator can see which abstracts have been submitted, reviewed, accepted, rejected, withdrawn, or incomplete, allowing the Administrator to stay in the loop on the submissions process.
Once an abstract has been accepted, it’s ready to be assigned to a session. The Administrator and the conference Chairperson can both pitch in to assign abstracts to various conference sessions. Mira’s software comes with a report, shared by both the Administrator and the Chairperson, that is automatically updated when either person assigns a submission to a session. The Unscheduled Submissions Report keeps both people updated in real time, and seamlessly coordinates their efforts. Every abstract accepted but not yet assigned will be on this report. With one click, the site Administrator can check the report, as it’s always on the dashboard.
Administrators can reach out to presenters and participants to solicit session proposals. Mira’s email system lets Administrators blast messages to groups with accuracy and ease. Contacting participants and colleagues individually is likewise efficient, and Mira’s tools keep messages accessible and organized for future reference.
